As of January 13 Gunnar is only 5 months old and on his way to becoming a service dog for a Marine with PTSD/TBI however, he has also accepted the mission of Loving Veterans to Life. Not only is he raising awareness for service dogs and veterans through his growing Facebook page, but he is loving people including this incredible little boy with a rare disease called Type II Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). It is a form of MD and at only 4 months old in this photo Gunnar knew right away that this little boy needed gentle love. He is now 5 moths old continuing and doing exceptional with this little boys wheel chair, loving mentally challenged adults each week and best of all loving his veterans and raising awareness for PTSD/TBI and the invisible wounds of war. He loves his job, he loves his training, and loves educating people on service dogs and the things that they can do to help our returning heroes. He is now a budding artist, selling paintings to raise funds for Valiant Veterans to offer free programs to veterans and their families. This little boy has a huge heart and is a already a hero and will only do more as he grows.
