Wyatt has saved hundreds of lives, whether he is screening Firefighters for cancers and other health issues, or teaching special needs children how to walk, talk, learn, or trust. From only a few weeks old, Wyatt's natural ability to perceive and alert to health issues including a seizure alert and hypoglycemia service dog for his owner, was evident. More impressive yet has been his intuition in detecting hundreds of cancers and other health issues in complete strangers he meets and befriends. Wyatt has traveled over 170,000 airline miles and 300,000 auto miles protecting his owner. Wyatt even taught a blind 3 year old boy who was terrified of dogs, how to trust, as he led this little boy around a busy shopping mall, on his own, carefully guiding him around the mall. Wyatt's best friend, Dr. Temple Grandin, acknowledges his unique abilities and snuggles him, receiving comfort. Wyatt has visited numerous schools and hospitals, giving hope to the hopeless. As the figurehead of www.MerlinsKIDS.org, which rescues dogs, rehabilitates and trains them, and places the dogs free of charge to special needs children, Wyatt evaluates children for suitability to receive service dogs. Ultimate Hero Dog!
