Juno was adopted in 2009 and since her mom rescues abandon and abused cats, Juno went right to work.

Mothering kittens who were orphaned and riding along for the daily feedings of maintained cat colonies.

Juno is a real people pleaser and while visiting with grandma in the hospital, we realized Juno had a certain way with patients, so began a regular routine of visits to senior centers and hospitals spreading good will and smiles.

Because Juno has such a good way with people she began working with helping to promote animal welfare organizations such as

1. Pet Rock Festival- Where animal welfare organizations can network, from those who fight to prevent cruelty in courts, shelters, rescues.

2. Spay Worcester- Goal is to reduce the population of free roaming cats in the City through Spay/ Neuter and public education.

3. Private Citizens for Pets In Peril- Uniting the public through common love of animals and work to promote awareness about animal rights issues through education and community projects. Also educating people about BSL and why it needs to end.

Juno also lends a paw to : The Wounded Warrior Project, The Molly Bish Foundation, Feet Need Shoes ( a group of people collecting 200,000 pairs of shoes for those in need) Massachusetts Vest-A-Dog, ( helping police dogs by providing bulletproof vests, and training) and collecting school supplies for local schools with many students in poverty level. Along with Kane’s Krusade, helping dogs through the distribution of C.A.R.E. Kits which include food, vaccinations, Kondos (dog houses) Also Sweet Pea Friends of Rutland Animal Shelter a non-profit animal welfare organization

Juno’s Place Facebook page has over 76,000 fans that follow her daily escapades. Many other pet owners ask for a simpatico ear to their problem and cause.

Juno is a little dog, doing big things.
